Dominance Test

Are you a hungry power-seeker? Do you need to be in control? Do you thrive on high status and take pleasure in looking down at people? The desire for power has a significant effect not only on our career choices, but also on our behavior. An obsession with power can corrupt us, as the old saying goes, but a lack of influence can leave us open to being taken advantage of. The reasons we pursue power and the manner in which we wield it are what separates the tyrants from the true leaders. This dominance test is made up of two types of questions: scenarios and self-assessment. For each scenario, answer according to how you would most likely behave in a similar situation. For the self-assessment questions, indicate the degree to which the given statements apply to you. In order to receive the most accurate results, please answer each question as honestly as possible.

Creative Problem-Solving Test

Do you typically approach a problem from many perspectives or opt for the same old solution that worked in the past? In his work on human motivation, Robert E. Franken states that in order to be creative, you need to be able to view things from different perspectives.Creativity is linked to fundamental qualities of thinking, such as flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity. This Creative Problem-solving Test was developed to evaluate whether your attitude towards problem-solving and the manner in which you approach a problem are conducive to creative thinking. This test is made up of two types of questions: scenarios and self-assessment. For each scenario, answer according to how you would most likely behave in a similar situation. For the self-assessment questions, indicate the degree to which the given statements apply to you. Value Profile Test

Values are a set of attitudes, unique to each individual, which govern our behavior and guide the way we look at the world. Each individual seeks to achieve certain goals in life, and ideally, his or her values are in tune with these goals. For instance, some individuals may see their family life as most important to them. They thus hold values that illustrate this - they believe that spending time with their family is more important than working long hours, and they may disagree with individuals whom they perceive as holding a more work-oriented value system. Looking back at their life, they hope to see that their family was always their top priority. Clarifying your values can help you prioritize your life in order to avoid disappointment and unhappiness. Living a life in tune with your values is important because it is what determines what means most to you.Select answer choices that reflect how you usually feel or act - that most accurately describe your general feelings or behaviors. There may be some questions describing situations that do not apply to you, or that you've never experienced before. In these cases, select the response that reflects what you would most likely do or feel if you ever found yourself in such a situation. In order to get the most out of the results, take the time to really think about your responses - what you really, truly want out of life.

Emotional Intelligence Test

For decades, a lot of emphasis has been put on certain aspects of intelligence such as logical reasoning, math skills, spatial skills, understanding analogies, verbal skills etc. Researchers were puzzled by the fact that while IQ could predict to a significant degree academic performance and, to some degree, professional and personal success, there was something missing in the equation. Some of those with fabulous IQ scores were doing poorly in life; one could say that they were wasting their potential by thinking, behaving and communicating in a way that hindered their chances to succeed. One of the major missing parts in the success equation is emotional intelligence, a concept made popular by the groundbreaking book by Daniel Goleman, which is based on years of research by numerous scientists such as Peter Salovey, John Meyer, Howard Gardner, Robert Sternberg and Jack Block, just to name a few. For various reasons and thanks to a wide range of abilities, people with high emotional intelligence tend to be more successful in life than those with lower EIQ even if their classical IQ is average. This emotional intelligence test will evaluate several aspects of your emotional intelligence and will suggest ways to improve it. Please be honest and answer according to what you really do, feel or think, rather than what you think is considered right in this test. Nobody is there to judge you, just yourself...and besides, there are many trick questions.Read every statement carefully and indicate which option applies best to you. The following test is meant to assess your mental speed - how quickly you can process information and make decisions based upon that information. If the pair does not match, click the "Incorrect" button (the right arrow key on your keyboard). However, if the word "Opposite" appears at the top of the screen, you need to reverse your answer. In the first example (pear and star), the answer would be incorrect ("Incorrect"). For the second example, although it is an exact match, the word Opposite appears at the top of the screen, so rather than choosing "Correct" you would have to choose "Incorrect"For the mathematical equations simply indicate whether the answer is correct or incorrect. For the number sequences indicate whether the number in red correctly completes the sequence. As you can see, the first equation is wrong - the answer should be 5, so in this case, you would choose "incorrect". However, although the number sequence is also wrong (the answer should be 22), the word Opposite requires you to reverse your answer, so in this case you would choose "Correct" rather than "Incorrect".Remember, you are being timed, so try to answer as quickly as possible - and remember to reverse your answer when the word "Opposite" appears. After finishing the test, you will find out how accurate and fast you were. Parenting Style Test

What does it take to be a good parent? Literature on parenting identifies four main styles: Authoritative, Authoritarian, Permissive and Uninvolved. These are based on the extent to which parents are responsive (offer warmth and support) and demanding (level of behavioral control). Research has shown that a failure to balance these two key aspects of parenting can have very harmful effects on children and their future conduct. Children who grow up in households where there is too much or too little of one trait (or even worse, no recognizable presence of either), tend to have difficulty with social adjustment and often show poor academic performance. Furthermore, they are at risk of developing low self-esteem and disciplinary problems, which often filter into more serious conditions when they reach adulthood in the form of depression and anxiety. This test is designed to identify your parenting style, based on the level of responsiveness and demandingness you provide. It is made up of two types of questions: scenarios and self-assessment. For each scenario, answer according to how you would most likely behave in a similar situation.
